Odds bet (behind pass)0%, the only bet in the casino with no house edge

Average cost per hour at $10.00 a bet$3.38 ($240.00 wagered)

The calculator counts pass-line decisions, not rolls. A pass-line bet often takes several rolls to settle, so a table that rolls 60 or more times an hour might settle only about 18 pass-line bets. Each one costs you 1.41% of your bet on average. The calculator uses 24 an hour, which is an estimate.

Taking odds behind the pass line has no house edge at all, so it lowers the average edge per dollar. It also means putting more money on the table each roll, so your swings get bigger.

The bets in the middle of the table carry edges from 9.09% (hard 6 or 8) up to 16.67% (any seven). Pick "Any seven" in the calculator above to see what it costs.

Expected loss = bet × bets per hour × hours played × house edge

House edges for table games and video poker are exact, worked out from the rules. Slot RTPs vary by game and casino. Bets per hour are estimates, so change them to match how you play. The lucky and unlucky lines are an approximation showing the top and bottom 10% of players.
