Baccarat odds and house edge
| Banker (5% commission) | House edge 1.06% |
| Player | House edge 1.24% |
| Tie (pays 8 to 1) | House edge 14.36% |
| Typical pace (estimate) | Roughly 40–70 hands an hour live; faster online |
| Average cost per hour at $10.00 a bet | $5.30 ($500.00 wagered) |
Banker wins slightly more often than Player, so the casino takes a 5% commission on Banker wins. Even after that, Banker is the cheapest bet on the table at 1.06%.
The Tie bet pays 8 to 1 and looks tempting, but its edge is 14.36%, more than thirteen times the Banker bet. Pick "Tie bet" in the calculator above to see what betting on ties costs.
Scorecards and "roads" track past results, but they don't predict the next hand.
House edges for table games and video poker are exact, worked out from the rules. Slot RTPs vary by game and casino. Bets per hour are estimates, so change them to match how you play. The lucky and unlucky lines are an approximation showing the top and bottom 10% of players.

No. Patterns on the scoreboard are a record of past hands and don't change the odds of the next one.
Do you take money from casinos?
No. notluck has no casino affiliates and no gambling ads.
